GR20
The GR. 20 is the mythical excursion, most difficult of the large French paths, it covers more 200km of paths between Calenzana and Conca. If you borrow this royal way, sometimes difficult, you will discover what Corsica has of more invaluable and of preserved better.
Varied landscapes emerge to the turning of the paths. It is necessary careful, to be well equipped; for certain sections located in high mountain, around Cinto Goes up, of the Circus of Loneliness or of Punta Minuta, it proves to be necessary to present an excellent physical condition, and to be even involved.
With the wire of the peaks, they are the 330.000 hectares of the Regional Natural reserve which one crosses, and, all along the way, one meets species protected from plants and animals.
Duration of the excursion: 10 to 15 days (30% of the walkers which borrow it make the whole GR20).
Beaconing: white and red.
Ideal period to practise it: semi June in mid-October.
