This new sport of slips, also known under the name of flysurf or kiteboard, found a ground of predilection: extreme south of Corsica with his 300 days of wind per annum. The tested kitesurfers (knowing to hold the course and to go up the wind) will be able to practise this discipline under excellent conditions throughout the year.
Caution! In August and July, its practice is disadvised, considering the tourist density on the beaches. In Figari, the kite is prohibited (by local by-law (A.M. No 07/2003 of the 09/07/2003) for the estival period.
The kitesurf practised without precaution can be a dangerous sport both for the practitioner his entourage. A formation with the practice of this sport is essential and it is highly disadvised beginning without framing. It is worthwhile, this sport offers a lifting and air spectacle enough époustouflant.
Spectators, for your safety and that of the practise:
• Observe the practise while remaining behind them, with their wind,
• Do not cross the zones of assembly and takeoff of
wings, as well as the zone of setting
with water,
• Do not seek to recover while seizing
by the lines or the fine control rod, a wing
who would have escaped with his pilot,
• If you wish to practise this sport, do not learn
not only, address to a school kitesurf.
