Hunting
In Corsica, hunting is an ancestral tradition. The wild boar is the game king. Beaten are organized as soon as hunting is open.
The inextricable vegetation which covers still today a good part of Corsica is a true sanctuary for many animal species, in addition threatened and protected.
Hunting remains possible for certain animals such blackbirds and thrushes. Large amateurs of myrtles and arbutus-berries, they are succulent when they are taken in the neighbourhoods of January, period when them flesh is scented.
The game, abundant and varied, is used by the restorers for a traditional kitchen in full rise. |
