Filitosa
Inside the grounds, a north of Oporto Pollo, the prehistoric site of Filitosa. Site classified by UNESCO, it is one of most important of Corsica.
With the Neolithic era, the men live under the rocks. some 4000 years later the first menhirs are drawn up.
In full bronze age, the men carve the menhirs.
Filitosa seems to have been a great place of worship, indeed one finds furnace bridges of big sizes there.
It is also interesting to visit more in the south the sites of Cauria and Palaggiu. |
