The best way of discovering the mountain remains the excursion. The amateurs of climbing will find in the area of many walls to climb, of most elementary with most difficult. The cliffs of Bavella and Conca make it possible to the beginners to acquire a certain dexterity and to the specialists to find a good training ground. The site calcareous of Conca, located at thirty minutes of porto-Vecchio, present many interests on the technical level. Finally in Bavella, all the types of climbing are possible: school with ways several lengths which mark out the solid mass.
The “pond has Southern Mare”
A very beautiful course which does not present particular difficulties, and practicable all the year. An excursion from 5 to 6 days through the Alta Rocca, connecting porto-Vecchio to Propriano, of the sea to the sea, of is in west. Longer stage: 6h (the fifth). Shortest: 5h (the first). The beaconing is orange.
